Certification Partnership with American Academy of HIV Medicine

 

NOVA is proud to announce a new certification partnership with the American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM) to provide NOVA members with the AAHIVM member rate on certification examination and re-certification fees. You will also receive a FREE copy of the 2012 Fundamentals of HIV Medicine including its 2014 Update desk reference. 

 

This discount applies to both of the certifications offered by AAHIVM:

• Practicing HIV Specialist (AAHIVS)

• Non-Practicing HIV Expert (AAHIVE)

These certifications are available to NOVA members who are Nurse Practitioners. AAHIVM supports the HIV care provider and the profession by:

 

• Providing continuing medical education;

• Credentialing HIV Specialists and HIV Experts;

• Providing practice management information;

• Advocating on behalf of the HIV care provider at the federal and state levels for issues relevant

  to clinical and professional support;

• Advancing healthcare resources for HIV-infected patients.
